Bureau Veritas UK Ltd is a company registered in England. At Bureau Veritas ensuring the security of our client’s data is a key priority and we remain committed to respecting your privacy. The Collection of Personal Information

Personal information from you, such as your name, email address or telephone number which is provided via our Local Air Quality Management (LAQM) Report Submission Website (RSW) and Diffusion Tube Data Entry System (DTDES) is treated as confidential information.

Your email address will never be sold, or intentionally passed on to third parties or spammed.

Collecting Domain Information

Bureau Veritas UK Ltd also collects domain information (e.g. IP address and referring URL's) as part of its analysis of the use of this site. This data enables us to become more familiar with how people visit our site, how often they visit and what parts of the site they visit most often. This information is collected automatically and requires no action on your part.

Disclosure to Third Parties

The LAQM Support Helpdesk is operated by Bureau Veritas UK Ltd on behalf of Defra, the Devolved Administrations and the GLA. Bureau Veritas will securely share your details only with our LAQM Support Helpdesk contract partners in accordance with the requirements of cross organisational working as dictated to by the terms of our contract.

Bureau Veritas UK Ltd does not pass on or sell email addresses or other information to any other third parties.

Mailing Lists

As part of the user registration process for the LAQM RSW and DTDES, we collect personal information. Foremost this is required to allow you to access the user content on the RSW and DTDES and for the RSW and DTDES services to operate.

By registering a RSW or and DTDES account, you consent to receiving LAQM related communications from Bureau Veritas sent on behalf of the LAQM Support Helpdesk, and on other matters relating to air quality.

We will also use your personal information to ensure we are sending you the right communications, to keep our records up to date and to check in from time to time to ensure you’re happy with the service from Bureau Veritas.

We take your privacy extremely seriously, and we never sell lists or email addresses.

We currently use a third-party provider to create and deliver our newsletters. From this, we obtain statistics from our client’s email behaviour using standard technology to help monitor and improve our offering. For more information, please see the provider's privacy policy.

You can unsubscribe to these communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link with any email we send, or by emailing a request to admin.rsw@uk.bureauveritas.com.
